Ado poly gets new registrar, bursar
The management of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado - Ekiti , in Ekiti State , has approved the appointment of Mrs Kehinde Ekanem as Registrar and Mr John Omodara as Bursar.
Ekanem , until her appointment , was a Deputy Registrar in the institution , while Omodara , until his appointment , was a Deputy Bursar at the National Open University of Nigeria , Abuja .
This was made known in a statement by the Deputy Registrar , Information , Ade Adejolu, which said that “ the appointment of the registrar and bursar formed part of the highpoints of a recent meeting of the Governing Council , which upheld results of the interview conducted recently for the two vacant positions in the polytechnic. ”
The Rector of the institution , Dr Dayo Oladebeye, advised the two appointees to see the appointments as a call to service .
Oladebeye congratulated the duo, while inaugurating them at an emergency meeting of management of the institution , and welcomed them to the polytechnic ’ s management committee.
Ekanem holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Languages from the University of Calabar , obtained in 1995 and a Masters of Public Administration Degree from the Ekiti State University , Ado - Ekiti in 2010 .
Omodara , who holds a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ado -Ekiti in 1995 also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management in 2002 and as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Ekiti State University in 2005 .
